In partnership with the Centro de Ciência Viva de Vila do Conde, Curtas – Educational Service is hosting two creative workshops for the whole family to mark the closing of ANIMAR 21. In a perfect blend of science and cinema, participants will be able to let their imaginations run wild and learn more about nature and animation.
Program
On Saturday, June 13th, at 10:30 a.m., Centro de Ciência Viva in Vila do Conde will host the workshop Desenhar para ANIMAR led by Inês Ferreira. Using the illustrations and objects they created earlier, participants will be invited to produce short stop-motion animations.

Stop-motion is an animated film technique that uses the sequential arrangement of different photographs of the same inanimate object to simulate its movement. These photographs are called frames/photograms and are usually taken from the same point, with the object changing position slightly, which gives the idea of movement.
